The chest has a hinged lid that opens. We thinks it’s a very wearable pendant, but too large for a contemporary charm bracelet. This is a big difference — 16.5K vs. the stated 18K — and not all that common in our experience with Italian jewelry, but we’re not about to argue with an assayer’s X-ray machine, so we’ve priced the charm based on its weight in 16.5K gold.
