Here’s a vintage handmade figural owl brooch composed of nylon acetate. This whimsical 1930’s early plastic pink & blue brooch with painted accents is in very good ready to wear condition. On the wavy lines of its belly there is a TEENY TINY loss of paint on the very last line (STUDY PHOTOS) which I mention for sake of accuracy in my description. There is NO other loss of paint elsewhere and NO cracks, NO chips. It has a good sturdy old “C” type clasp in good working condition. The brooch measures 2 3/4 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wide. It is perfect for the lover of early Art Plastic jewelry and/or the lover of owls. It is unsigned.
With rhinestones adding a touch of sparkle to the mother bird, this brooch captures the charm and flair of the 1930s-1950 era.
