A lovely vintage English estate solid 9k gold cross and diamond decorated wedding band ring, hallmarks for Shipton & Company, 1984. This lovely vintage solid 9k yellow gold ring has wonderful light-catching diamond shaped decorations with crosses in the middle going all the way around the band-perfect as a wedding or everyday ring! The ring has full English hallmarks inside the band with maker’s mark ‘S&Co’ for Shipton & Company of Spencer, Street, Birmingham (established 1870), the crown for gold, ‘375’ for 9k gold, the Birmingham anchor and date letter ‘K’ for 1984. The ring tests for 9k gold. The ring is approximately a size 6 1/2. The band is approximately 3.6 mm wide. The ring rises about 1mm above the finger and weighs approximately 1.95 grams. The ring is in excellent condition with all over general wear.
