14k multi tone gold ring 3.30ct multi gemstone handmade 1870’s Antique 5.5g sz 6

Seemingly light and airy, this ring was handmade in the most sophisticated method of the manufacturing available to a jewelry trade at the time. The shank on this ring was hand cast and then all the other parts, and there were many, were hand carved mostly from solid pieces of gold. All the stones were bezel set, matching one another, in a beautiful harmonious way and the wonderful combination of the colors. On the top of the ring, a rose cut sapphire was set in a beautiful handmade bezel is actually attached by a thick gold screw, which makes this ring, for all practical purposes, basically indestructible. There is also an Imperial topaz, an Amber, a moon stone, an Emerald, a Garnet, a blue topaz, a Tiger’s eye and a rhodolite Garnet, the contrast of colors is amazing.
