I dont know much about this brooch, except that I bought it from an estate in Palm Beach. So who knows who wore it? It is in absolutely perfect condition. See photos for size… it is large and eye catching. There are leaf brooches on the internet, and some of KJL’s say “semi-precious” but there arent any this color so I don’t t know what these stones could be. But I do know you will love it.
Marked KJL for AVON on the back, confirming the Kenneth Jay Lane for Avon collaboration series. His collaboration pieces with Avon are especially collectible due to their distinctive designs and limited production runs.
Think red, green, gold, faux pearls, and dazzling crystals — jewelry that makes spirits bright and turns heads under the mistletoe. Largegraduated pale gemstone colored resin cabochons —larger stones at the base for visual weight.
