I took this to Gary L. Smith Forensic Jeweler™/Forensic Gemologist® G.G., A.G.A.-A.S.G., A.S.A.-M.G.A Member, Retired Master Gemologist Appraiser® who to my surprise said the set is antique dark blue sapphire with authentic diamonds . In reflective light it will give off a beautiful ocean blue hue. I trust his appraisal of the ring at 1000$ and am selling it as is (see photos regarding sapphire crown setting needs repair but still appraised at this price). The earrings are included as an extra for 450$ .
