For sale is a beautiful vintage genuine carved shell cameo brooch with a filigree border that scratch tests as Silver (could be between 800-925 silver), there are no visible hallmarks that I can see. It appears that at some point the metal was rhodium plated and some of the plating is beginning to flake off. The pin catch appears to have been a rollover but part of the mechanism has broken off (captured in the last 3 photos). It still functions as a c clasp but may need repair for more security when worn. Please view all photos carefully. Thank you for looking!
