This elegant group of twelve miniature cameos were acquired from a European estate collection and purchased at auction from a Hong Kong auction house. The craftsmanship of this set highlights the Victorian attention to detail and the warm hues of the shell and banded agate provides a pleasing contrast to the white relief.
