Victorian brooch featuring a large oval amethyst colored glass stone. The center stone is bezel set and surrounded by a halo of small clear glass stones arranged in a circular frame. The brooch is set in an unmarked silvertone metal setting. A straight pin with C-clasp closure is typical of jewelry from the late Victorian period. Circa 1900. Measurements 1 3/4" x 1 1/8" Very good vintage condition with light expected age wear.
